WHAT IS COLLEGE WISH?
College WISH is
an outreach program of The WISH List (Women In the Senate and
House), which links Republicans across the country to collectively
elect pro-choice Republican women at the national, state and local
levels across the U.S. WISH is the largest national organization
dedicated to electing pro-choice Republican women.
The purpose of College WISH is to connect, commit and create
activism among pro-choice College Republicans.
College WISH: Connects pro-choice Republican students across the
country to WISH headquarters in Washington, D.C. to candidates and
to one another; commits students to the cause of electing pro-choice
Republican women; and creates activism within pro-choice Republican
young women and men college students.
College WISH encourages the next generation of Republicans to lead
the way toward a more centrist Party that embraces the basic
principles at the heart of the Republican tradition: individual
freedoms and responsibilities, a sound economy, limited government,
healthy communities, and educated citizenry, and a strong and secure
nation.
College WISH provides a voice and a forum for moderate college
Republicans to become active and to make a difference in the
Republican Party and the future of our country. Parties take the
direction of their most active members, and College WISH promotes
activism among moderate Republican students to keep the Republican
Party the Party of individual freedoms and limited government
intrusion in our lives.
