The WISH List’s Tillie Fowler Campaign Training Program periodically gives prospective candidates and campaign operatives the opportunity to obtain advice on campaign strategy, polling, grassroots organization and fundraising from top national campaign experts.
The campaign school is named after a longtime WISH friend, former U.S. Congresswoman Tillie Fowler, who died on March 2, 2005. Fowler, a staunch pro-choice leader endorsed by WISH in each of her four successful campaigns to represent Florida in the U.S. House of Representatives, was a champion of women’s rights and freedoms throughout her lifetime.
Recent training programs have included sessions led by premier political experts designed to help outstanding pro-choice Republican women candidates, campaign managers and fundraisers succeed in American politics. Since 2001, The WISH List has offered candidate training as part of its overall long-term America’s WISH Program to support and elect more pro-choice Republican women at all levels of government.
